The Nitecore UT27 MB is a lightweight trail-running headlamp with up to 800 lumens of neutral-white Turbo and a 168 m beam. Select warm 3000K, neutral 4500K or cool 6500K white light, or use three red-light levels reaching 150 lumens and 70 m. TrueVision+ optics provide broad flood lighting, with red SOS and slow flashing for signalling.

The included 1500 mAh HLB1500 pack charges through its own USB-C port in approximately 1 hour 30 minutes at 5V/1A. White Low provides up to 14 hours 30 minutes at 100 lumens with this pack. Three AAA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries can be used as an alternative and are not included. Electronic lockout and four battery indicators help manage transport and remaining charge.

Weighing 74 g with battery, bracket and headband, the UT27 MB includes a 90° adjustable bracket, reflective headband, four-way clip and diffusing stuff sack. The PC body is IP66-rated and impact resistant to 1 m; do not submerge it. Turbo steps down during extended use. Follow the manual's safety instructions.

Does it include a rechargeable battery?

Can I use AAA batteries instead?

Yes: three AAA alkaline or Ni-MH cells are compatible alternatives. AAA batteries are not included. Do not use 3.2V or 3.7V 10400 rechargeable cells.

How long can I run the white light?

With HLB1500, Low is rated for 14 hours 30 minutes at 100 lumens, or Mid for 6 hours 30 minutes at 280 lumens. Runtime varies; 800-lumen Turbo steps down during extended use.

Can I start directly in red without white light?

Yes: with the headlamp off, double-press either button to enter red Low. Short presses then cycle through the three red brightness levels.

Can I submerge the UT27 MB?

No: its IP66 rating covers dust and water jets, not immersion. It is suitable for wet-weather use with the battery compartment properly closed.
