The Nitecore EDC29 rechargeable everyday-carry flashlight gives you a choice between focused reach and broad illumination. SEARCH delivers a narrower 3,000-lumen beam with a maximum rated distance of 400 m, while LUMIN SHIELD provides up to 6,500 lumens across a wider area. These high-output functions are temporary, and temperature regulation adjusts brightness.

Choose the regular brightness levels for extended use. The built-in 2,500mAh battery charges through USB-C in about 1 hour 15 minutes with a 5V/2A supply, without removing a battery or using a separate charger.

  • The 100-lumen setting is laboratory-rated for 13 hours; 400 lumens is rated for 3 hours. Actual output and runtime vary with conditions.
  • SEARCH, LUMIN SHIELD and Strobe are unavailable during charging.
  • Rapid Lock Full Lockout disables both buttons for carrying; Semi Lockout leaves the high-output shortcut available.
  • IP54 dust and splash protection does not cover immersion.
