The Nitecore EDC27 UHi rechargeable everyday-carry flashlight lets you select your brightness before switching on. Half-press the power button to wake the OLED display, choose a level, then fully press to start at that setting. This UHi revision provides up to 3,100 lumens in momentary Turbo and a maximum rated beam distance of 305 m.

The built-in 1,700mAh battery recharges through USB-C in about 1 hour 15 minutes with a 5V/2A supply. Regular brightness levels suit longer tasks; Turbo is a temporary boost, not a continuous-output setting.

  • The 200-lumen level is laboratory-rated for 4 hours 20 minutes; 55 hours applies to 15-lumen Ultralow. Actual runtime varies.
  • Use Full Lockout for pocket or bag carry.
  • The proximity sensor checks for obstructions only when starting certain high-output modes, not if the beam is covered afterwards.
  • IP54 provides dust and splash protection, not a submersion rating.
