The Nitecore HA23 UHE headlamp combines selectable white colour temperatures with a choice of battery formats. Choose warm 3,000K, neutral 4,500K or cool 6,500K lighting, plus separate red light, for different tasks around camp or on the trail. This UHE model offers up to 600 lumens and a rated maximum beam distance of 132 metres; High steps down during extended use.

Run it on three alkaline or Ni-MH AAA batteries, or choose the optional Nitecore HLB1500 rechargeable pack. AAA batteries are not included; please purchase them separately. The rechargeable pack is also sold separately. Remove the HLB1500 to charge through the pack’s own USB-C port; the headlamp does not charge AAA cells.

  • At 100-lumen Low, laboratory ratings are eight hours with alkaline AAA or 12 hours with HLB1500; actual runtime varies.

How water-resistant is it?

It is IP68-rated, including submersion to two metres. This does not make it a diving headlamp.
