This 2023 HA13 takes three AAA alkaline, Ni-MH or primary lithium batteries; AAA batteries are not included; please purchase them separately. It also accepts the optional HLB1300 rechargeable pack, sold separately.

With alkaline AAA batteries, published runtimes are 12 hours at 100 lumens or 140 hours at 6 lumens. High starts at 350 lumens but steps down during extended use; battery type and conditions affect runtime.
