The Nitecore DL30 diving flashlight combines four brightness levels with five signalling patterns for underwater lighting and signalling. Its IP68 construction is rated for submersion to 100 m. Keep the body securely closed underwater and dry the exterior before opening it to remove the battery.

The included removable NL2153R 5,300mAh battery charges through its own USB-C port, rather than a port on the flashlight body. Normal switch-on starts in Turbo; short presses then cycle through High, Mid and Low to adjust the light for the task.

  • Low is laboratory-rated for 6 hours at 350 lumens; High for 3 hours at 800 lumens. Temperature regulation and conditions affect output and runtime.
  • Signalling options include SOS, quick flashing and flashes every one, two or three seconds.
  • Battery charging takes about 6 hours 30 minutes at 5V/1A.
  • Standard kit includes a diffuser with lanyard, wrist lanyard, two spare O-rings, battery and charging cable.
