The Nitecore EDC25 rechargeable everyday-carry flashlight combines regular lighting levels with a customizable high-output shortcut. Its momentary Turbo reaches up to 3,000 lumens with a maximum rated beam distance of 300 m, giving you a brief burst when you need to see farther. Turbo is temporary, and thermal regulation adjusts brightness.

Set the shortcut button to momentary Turbo or Strobe; releasing it returns to the previous setting. A built-in 1,700mAh battery charges through USB-C, so everyday recharging does not require a separate battery charger.

  • The 200-lumen setting is laboratory-rated for 4 hours 15 minutes; the 55-hour maximum applies to 15 lumens. Actual results vary.
  • A full charge takes about 1 hour 15 minutes with a 5V/2A supply.
  • Normal lighting is available while charging, but Turbo and Strobe are not.
  • Use Full Lockout for carrying; Half Lockout leaves the shortcut active.
  • IP54 dust and splash protection does not cover submersion.

The 1,700mAh battery is built in and is not intended for user replacement.

How do I charge it, and can I use it plugged in?

Does Half Lockout prevent all accidental lighting?

No. The customizable button still works in Half Lockout. Use Full Lockout for carrying it in a pocket or bag.
