Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Overview

This website is operated by SENGOL&SONS LLP trading as EDC.ASIA, a limited liability partnership registered in Singapore with limited liability, UEN T23LL0756K. References to “EDC.ASIA”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean SENGOL&SONS LLP.

These Terms of Service govern your use of www.edcasia.co and purchases from us. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and the store policies identified below. You must read them before ordering.

These Terms are subject to applicable consumer law, which takes precedence over any conflicting condition, exclusion or deadline. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Our store uses Shopify’s e-commerce platform.

1. Customer eligibility and information

You must be legally able to enter into a binding purchase agreement and be authorised to use the payment method provided.

You must provide accurate billing, delivery and contact details, including an email address you can access. You must check the selected product, variant, quantity and delivery address before placing your order, and promptly notify us of any error.

You must keep your account credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. We may request reasonable information needed to verify an order or payment before dispatch.

2. General conditions and intellectual property

You must use this website and our services lawfully. We may restrict quantities or decline orders before acceptance because of stock availability, payment-verification problems, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions, listing errors or unauthorised resale.

Website content, photographs, graphics, logos and other protected materials belong to SENGOL&SONS LLP or their respective rights holders. Unauthorised copying, republication, distribution or commercial exploitation of protected content is prohibited.

3. Product information and editorial content

Product descriptions and specifications identify the goods being offered. You must review the published features, dimensions and compatibility information before ordering. Screen settings can affect how colours appear.

General articles, reviews and buying guides provide information about everyday carry products and their use. You must follow the manufacturer’s operating and safety instructions.

Changes to website content do not retrospectively change the description or advertised functions of goods you have ordered. Claims that goods do not match their description or function as advertised are handled under our Returns and Refunds Policy.

4. Prices and availability

The currency, item prices and checkout charges shown when you place your order form the basis of your offer to purchase. Customs duties and import taxes payable separately by you are addressed in our Returns and Refunds Policy.

We may change prices, promotions, product ranges and availability for future orders. We will not impose a different price or substitute a materially different item for your order without your agreement.

Stock and delivery restrictions may prevent us from accepting an order. Pricing and listing errors are handled under Section 11.

5. Cancellations, returns, refunds and claims

Our Returns and Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms. It sets out the shipment hold, cancellation process, reporting periods, evidence requirements, return authorisation, inspection, exclusions, return shipping costs, restocking fee and refund process.

All requests and claims under that policy must be emailed to harris@edcasia.co from the email address used to place the order, with your order number. Requests through social media, public reviews, comments or other channels are not processed through those channels.

Once your parcel has been handed to the courier, we do not accept cancellations. Verified non-delivery, damage, defects, incorrect items and products that do not match their description or advertised function are handled through the claims process.

Section 6 governs whether an order has been accepted and the withdrawal of an order before acceptance.

6. Order acceptance and withdrawal before acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy the selected items. We accept an order for physical goods when the parcel is handed to the courier, unless we expressly confirm acceptance earlier by email. If goods are dispatched in separate parcels, this applies to the goods in each parcel. For electronically delivered gift cards, acceptance occurs when we issue the gift card to you.

An automated acknowledgement of receipt, payment confirmation or allocation of a tracking number does not by itself constitute acceptance.

Before acceptance, you may withdraw the items in your order that have not yet been accepted by emailing a clear withdrawal notice to harris@edcasia.co from the email address used to place the order, identifying the order and the items concerned. A valid withdrawal received before acceptance takes effect without our approval. We will confirm the processing status and refund payment collected for those items, plus any delivery charges that are no longer payable, to the original payment method.

If we expressly accept an order before courier handover, voluntary cancellation is subject to our ability to stop fulfilment and our confirmation by email, as described in the Returns and Refunds Policy.

7. Optional tools and website features

We may make optional tools or features available through third-party providers. Their availability and operation may depend on those providers. You must review any terms presented for their use before using them.

Changes to optional website features do not cancel accepted orders or remove our obligations concerning those orders.

8. Delivery, fulfilment vendors and external websites

Delivery arrangements, processing information and shipping charges are explained in our Shipping Policy. Products may be sent from different vendors and locations, and items in an order may arrive separately.

EDC.ASIA remains your contact for orders placed through our store, including goods shipped directly by a vendor. Product returns must follow our written return instructions.

You must provide accurate delivery information and pay customs duties and import taxes lawfully payable by you, as stated in the Returns and Refunds Policy.

Links to independent websites may be provided for information. Those businesses control their own websites and transactions. Questions about purchases made independently on those websites must be directed to the relevant business.

9. Reviews, feedback and submissions

You must not impersonate another person or submit material that is knowingly false, unlawful or infringes another person’s rights.

By submitting a review or other content for public display, you grant us non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display, reproduce and format it on our website and associated store channels without changing its meaning. You retain ownership of your content.

We may remove material that is unlawful, clearly false or misleading, abusive, threatening, infringing, unrelated to our products or services, or exposes confidential or private information. These Terms do not prohibit honest reviews or criticism.

Private customer correspondence and claim evidence are handled under our Privacy Policy.

10. Personal information

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used and handled when you visit our website, place an order or contact us.

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Information about your visits, purchases and use of the store is shared with Shopify and relevant service providers, which may process it in other countries. Where Shopify’s Enhanced Services are used, Shopify also processes information from interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify to provide personalisation, advertising, analytics and related services. Our Privacy Policy and the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy explain this processing and the available privacy choices.

Provide only information reasonably needed for your enquiry or order. Do not send full payment-card details, account passwords or security codes by email.

11. Errors, declined orders and orders we cannot fulfil

We may correct genuine pricing, listing or availability errors. Before acceptance, we may decline an affected order or ask whether you wish to place a corrected order. We will not charge an additional amount without your agreement.

If an error is discovered after acceptance, we will contact you to resolve it. We will not treat a later website edit as changing the accepted order.

If we decline an order or cancel goods we will not supply, we will notify you by email and promptly refund payment collected for those goods and any delivery charges that are no longer payable. No restocking fee applies to these cancellations or to a withdrawal under Section 6.

If we cannot meet the stated dispatch time, we will notify you and provide the option to agree a revised dispatch date or cancel the affected unshipped goods for a refund. The order-acceptance process does not postpone our obligations to provide shipment information, delay notices or refunds.

12. Prohibited uses

You must not:

  • Use false identities, unauthorised payment methods or fraudulent order information.
  • Submit fabricated claims or altered evidence intended to mislead us.
  • Upload malicious code, interfere with the website or bypass security controls.
  • Access another person’s account or information without authorisation.
  • Send spam, phishing messages, threats or unlawful content.
  • Infringe intellectual property rights or unlawfully collect personal information.
  • Use our website or products for unlawful purposes.

We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict access as described in Section 16.

13. Website availability and limits of liability

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access to the website. This does not reduce our obligation to fulfil accepted orders or resolve valid claims under our Returns and Refunds Policy.

We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses arising from purchases made for personal use.

We are not responsible for loss to the extent caused by your misuse, unauthorised modifications or failure to follow reasonable product operating and safety instructions.

These limitations do not exclude liability for our fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

14. Third-party claims caused by customer misconduct

You must reimburse us for reasonable losses and costs arising from third-party claims, but only to the extent caused by your unlawful use of the website, material breach of these Terms or infringement of another person’s rights through content you submit.

This does not include losses caused by our own breach, negligence or misconduct. We will notify you of the claim and take reasonable steps to limit the costs.

15. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent they can operate independently.

16. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend website or account access where reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, security risks, unlawful activity or a material breach of these Terms.

Ending your use of our website, closing an account or suspending access does not cancel an existing order or remove outstanding payment obligations. Order withdrawals and cancellations are governed by Sections 5 and 6.

Any unfulfilled order that we cancel remains subject to the notification and refund process in Section 11.

17. Agreement and policy priority

Your agreed order details, these Terms and the following policies form the relevant terms for your purchase and use of our store:

Sections 6 and 11 take precedence over conflicting provisions in the Returns and Refunds Policy for order acceptance, withdrawal before acceptance, orders we decline or cannot fulfil, and shipment delays. For other cancellations, returns, refunds and order claims, the Returns and Refunds Policy takes precedence over conflicting provisions in these Terms.

A delay in enforcing a provision does not by itself waive the right to enforce it later.

18. Governing law

These Terms and our agreements with you are governed by the laws of Singapore, subject to the legal protections stated in the Overview.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version on this website. Updates apply prospectively. The terms applicable when an order was placed continue to govern that order; later updates do not remove those terms or existing rights.
