The Nitecore EDC35 rechargeable everyday-carry flashlight offers two distinct high-output options for checking your surroundings. SEARCH concentrates up to 3,000 lumens into a beam rated to reach 550 m, while LUMIN SHIELD spreads up to 5,000 lumens across a wider area. Both are temporary press-and-hold modes rather than sustained brightness settings.

For longer tasks, select a regular brightness level and recharge the built-in 6,000mAh battery through USB-C. The 300-lumen setting is laboratory-rated for 9 hours 15 minutes, with actual brightness and runtime varying in use.

  • USB-C charging takes about 3 hours 30 minutes with a 5V/2A supply.
  • Normal lighting works while charging; SEARCH and LUMIN SHIELD are unavailable.
  • Use Full Lockout for pocket or bag carry. Half Lockout still permits the high-output modes.
