The Nitecore NU25 MCT UL rechargeable headlamp brings selectable white colour temperatures to a 47g setup, including its bracket and headband. For a walking or camping kit where weight matters, it keeps the same lighting and battery specifications as the 50g standard MCT. Maximum output is 400 lumens, with a rated beam distance of up to 132 metres.

Switch between warm 3,000K, neutral 4,500K and cool 6,500K white light, or use the separate red light for close-range tasks. The built-in 700mAh battery recharges through USB-C rather than being swapped for spare cells. This is the MCT UL generation, distinct from earlier NU25 UL models.

  • USB-C charging takes approximately one hour and 15 minutes with a 5V/0.5A supply.
  • The 60-lumen Low setting is rated for 13 hours under test conditions; actual runtime varies.
  • Maximum brightness is not an all-night setting, and AAA batteries cannot be fitted.
  • IP66 water-jet resistance; not rated for submersion.
